Eminem - Love the way you Lie

Το είχαμε προβλέψει εξ αρχής ότι το νέο album του Eminem θα σαρώσει τα πάντα στο διάβα του. Μετά την τεράστια επιτυχία του Not Afraid, σειρά έχει να σκαρφαλώσει στο νο.1 και το Love the way you Lie με την συμμετοχή της εκρηκτικής Rihanna (η οποία μάλιστα έγινε κοκκινομάλλα για τις ανάγκες του clip).

Ο παραγωγός του κομματιού, Alex da Kid, αποκάλυψε ότι χρειάστηκε μόνο 2 μέρες για να το ηχογραφήσουν. Την σκηνοθεσία του clip ανέλαβε ο Joseph Kahn και διάλεξε δύο πολύ γνωστούς ηθοποιούς, τον Dominic Monaghan (γνωστό από το Lost και το Lord of the Rings) και τη Megan Fox (η οποία νομίζω δε χρειάζεται συστάσεις...) σε μια ιστορία μίσους και αγάπης.

Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι το συγκεκριμένο video συγκέντρωσε σχεδόν 60.000.000 views σε 20 μέρες ενώ έσπασε και το ρεκόρ όλων των εποχών στο YouTube για τα περισσότερα views μέσα σε 24 ώρες! To Recovery είναι πλέον διπλά πλατινένιο έχοντας πουλήσει 2,11 εκατομμύρια δίσκους στην Αμερική (15 Αυγούστου 2010) και παρέμεινε στο νο.1 του Billboard chart για 5 συνεχόμενες βδομάδες. Μπορεί να είναι το 6ο album του Eminem που καρφώνεται απευθείας στο νο.1, αλλά το Recovery είχε ιδιαίτερη σημασία για τον rapper καθώς ήταν ένα προσωπικό στοίχημα που έβαλε με τον εαυτό του για να καθαρίσει από τις καταχρήσεις.

Ο Slim Shady όπως όλα δείχνουν θα μονοπωλήσει και τα βραβεία του MTV καθώς συγκεντρώνει 8 υποψηφιότητες (τις περισσότερες για άνδρα καλλιτέχνη για φέτος), ανάμεσά τους και αυτές για το Βιντεοκλίπ της Χρονιάς και το Καλύτερο Ανδρικό Βιντεοκλίπ για το «Not Afraid». Άραγε τι happenings μας επιφυλάσσει αυτή τη χρονιά ο Em και οι υπόλοιποι stars; Κάθε χρόνο κάτι γίνεται, δε πιστεύω να μας αφήσουν φέτος έτσι!
